To connect your Yamaha SRT-1500 MusicCast TV Speaker Base to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that both your TV and the speaker base are turned off.
2. Locate the HDMI OUT port on the back of the speaker base.
3. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port of the speaker base.
4. Locate the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) or HDMI OUT (ARC) port on your TV.
5. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC or HDMI OUT (ARC) port of your TV.
6. Turn on your TV and set it to the appropriate HDMI input that is connected to the speaker base.
7. Turn on the speaker base and wait for it to establish a connection with your TV.
8. Once the connection is established, you should be able to hear the audio from your TV through the speaker base.
Note: HDMI ARC is a feature that allows audio to be sent from your TV to the speaker base through the HDMI cable. Make sure that your TV supports HDMI ARC and that the HDMI ARC function is enabled in your TV's settings.
