To set up and use the Beautyrest BR54-0897 Electric Wrap Poncho Blanket Shawl Wearable, follow these steps:
1. Plug the 4-prong plug from the controller into the module at the bottom of the warming Throw until the plastic lock clicks into place. Make sure not to force the plug, as it should fit in only one direction. If it doesn't fit, reverse the plug.
2. Plug the warming Throw Controller's main power cord into a 110-120 volt 60 HZ wall outlet.
3. Press the "On" switch to turn the Warming Throw Controller's power on. The Low heat setting indicator will illuminate to indicate the current heat setting. The controller will always start in the Low heat setting. If any of the Indicator LEDs are flashing, it indicates an "Error" condition. In such cases, follow the troubleshooting instructions in the manual.
4. Press the button on the right side of the Indicator LED's to cycle through the heat settings. The heat settings should cycle through as L (Low), M (Medium), H (High), and then back to L. Set the controller to your desired heat setting. Always remember to turn the Throw controller off when not in use.
5. To restart after a power failure, press the "On" button and then set the controller to your desired heat setting.
