To set up your Arlo VMC4050B Pro 4 Spotlight Camera Wireless Security, please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure that you have a stable Wi-Fi connection and a compatible mobile device.
2. Download and install the Arlo app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
3. Launch the Arlo app and create an Arlo account if you don't have one already.
4. Tap on the "+" icon in the top-right corner of the app to add a new device.
5. Select "Camera" from the list of available devices.
6. Scan the QR code located on the camera or its packaging using your mobile device's camera.
7. Wait for the app to detect the camera. Once detected, tap on the camera's name to proceed.
8. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your Wi-Fi network. You may need to enter your Wi-Fi network password during this step.
9. Once the camera is connected to your Wi-Fi network, you can choose a location for it and mount it using the provided mounting hardware.
10. Power on the camera by inserting the included battery or connecting it to a power source using the provided cable.
11. Wait for the camera to initialize and connect to the Arlo cloud service. This process may take a few minutes.
12. Once the camera is successfully set up, you can customize its settings, such as motion detection sensitivity, recording modes, and notifications, through the Arlo app.
