To set the temperature on the BLACK+DECKER BHDE1706 Desktop Heater, follow these steps:
1. Plug the heater into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
2. Press the On/Mode/Off Button once to set the heater to Low (LO 1000 Watts). The LO Indicator Light will illuminate.
3. Press the On/Mode/Off Button again to set the heater at the High (HI 1500 Watts) setting. The HI Indicator Light will illuminate.
4. Continue to press the On/Mode/Off Button to cycle through the Temperature Indicators (60 °F - 80 °F) until your desired temperature is set. The selected Temperature Indicator Light will illuminate.
5. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the selected temperature setting. If the room temperature is too low, either continue to press the On/Mode/Off button to raise the temperature or select the Lo or Hi Setting for constant heat.
Note: The heater thermostat has memory and will remember the previous temperature setting after the unit has been turned off. If the unit is unplugged, the heater thermostat will be reset and will no longer remember the previous temperature setting.
