To wash the Sunbeam 12695 Microplush Heated Electric Blanket, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the power cord from the wall before detaching the control cord from the heated product.
2. Disconnect the controller cord from the connector by squeezing the connector's hinges on both sides to unplug it easily.
3. Ensure that no cords are still connected and none of the wires have worn through the fabric.
4. Machine wash the blanket in cold water on a gentle cycle or hand wash it.
- Caution: Do not use commercial dryers or the dryers at your local laundromat, as they get too hot and can damage the wiring of the heated product.
5. Hang the blanket to dry or tumble dry it on a low, delicate cycle.
6. Remove the blanket while it is still damp and gently stretch it to its original size.
