To set up the Comfort Spaces CS58-0138 Electric Wrap Blanket, follow these steps:
1. Make sure to use only the control unit provided with the blanket or one provided by the manufacturer. Do not use any other control unit.
2. Before plugging the controller's main power cord into the wall outlet, ensure that you have completely set up the blanket.
3. Plug the 4-prong plug from the controller into the module at the bottom of the blanket until the plastic lock clicks into place. Do not force the plug, as it is designed to fit in only one direction. If it doesn't fit, reverse the plug.
4. To disconnect the controller from the blanket, press the button on the connector module and pull straight out.
5. Plug the warming blanket controller's main power cord into a 110-120 volt 60 Hz wall outlet.
6. Press the "On" switch to turn on the controller's power. The low heat setting indicator will illuminate to indicate the current heat setting. The controller always starts in the low heat setting.
7. If any of the indicator LEDs are flashing, it indicates an "Error" condition. If this occurs, follow the troubleshooting instructions in the manual.
8. Press the button on the right side of the indicator LEDs to cycle through the heat settings. The heat settings should cycle through as L (low), M (medium), H (high), and then back to L. Set the controller to your desired heat setting. Always remember to turn off the controller when not in use.
9. If there is a power failure, press the "On" button and then set the controller to your desired heat setting to restart.
