To mount the Tripp Lite RS-1215 Rackmount PDU Power Strip, you have two options: rackmount installation or wallmount/under counter installation. Here are the steps for each option:
Rackmount Installation:
1. Put four user-supplied rackmount screws through the unit's mounting ears and into the rack rails.
2. Ensure that the rackmount screws are suitable for holding the unit in the rack.
Wallmount/Under Counter Installation:
1. Unscrew the screws holding the unit's mounting ears to the sides of the unit.
2. Use the screws from Step 1 to reattach the mounting ears to the unit. Make sure to put the screws through diagonally opposite holes on the ear.
3. Put four user-supplied screws or similar mounting hardware through the unit's mounting ears and into the mounting surface.
4. Ensure that the user-supplied mounting hardware is capable of supporting the unit before mounting.
