To connect the Yamaha CD-S2100SL Natural Sound CD Player to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the power is turned off for both the CD player and your audio system.
2. Using RCA audio cables (not included), connect the analog audio output jacks (L/R) on the back of the CD player to the corresponding analog audio input jacks on your audio system. The CD player has both fixed and variable output options. If you want to control the volume from the CD player, use the variable output jacks. If you prefer to control the volume from your audio system, use the fixed output jacks.
3. If you have a digital audio system, you can also connect the CD player using the coaxial or optical digital audio output. Use a coaxial or optical digital audio cable (not included) to connect the corresponding output on the CD player to the corresponding input on your audio system.
4. Once the connections are made, double-check that all cables are securely plugged in.
5. Turn on your audio system first, followed by the CD player.
6. Select the appropriate input source on your audio system to listen to the CD player.
