To connect your Yamaha YSP-5600 MusicCast Sound Bar to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that both the sound bar and the TV are turned off.
2. Locate the HDMI OUT (TV ARC) port on the sound bar and the HDMI ARC port on your TV. These ports are usually labeled.
3. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (TV ARC) port on the sound bar.
4. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
5. Turn on your TV and go to the settings menu.
6. Navigate to the audio settings or sound output settings.
7. Select the option to enable ARC (Audio Return Channel) or HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) on your TV.
8. Turn on the sound bar and select the HDMI input that corresponds to the HDMI OUT (TV ARC) port.
9. Adjust the volume on the sound bar and TV as desired.
Note: If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC port, you can use the optical digital audio output on your TV instead. In this case, connect an optical cable from the TV's optical digital audio output to the optical input on the sound bar. Then, select the optical input on the sound bar.
