To set up the Pyle PDWM2135 Channel Microphone System for an outdoor wedding ceremony, please follow these steps:
1. Unscrew the bottom of the handheld microphones (or slide open the battery compartment tray of the belt-pack transmitter) to install two 'AA' batteries in each microphone. xxxx the battery cap back on securely.
2. Plug the receiver base into your mixer or amplifier using a 1/4" mono microphone cord. Make sure the cord is securely connected to both the receiver and the mixer/amplifier.
3. Plug the receiver base into an electrical wall outlet for power.
4. Turn on the receiver base by using the ON/OFF switch located at the front of the unit. The RF Signal and AF Signal LED indicators should light up to indicate that the receiver is powered on.
5. Each handheld microphone has its own ON/OFF switch located on the microphone body. Turn on the desired microphone(s) by flipping the switch to the ON position. The RF Power LED indicator on the receiver base should light up to indicate that the microphone is connected and transmitting.
6. Adjust the volume levels of the microphones as needed using the independent adjustable volume control knobs on the receiver base. This will help balance the vocals for a clear sound during the ceremony.
7. Position the receiver base and the handheld microphones in a suitable location where they can receive a strong signal. The dual independent channel antennas on the receiver base help improve signal reception.
8. Perform a sound check to ensure that the microphones are working properly and the sound levels are appropriate for the outdoor wedding ceremony.
