To set up your Roku 4400R Streaming Media Player with Enhanced Remote, follow these steps:
1. Connect to TV: Use the included HDMI cable to connect your streaming player to an HDMI port on the back of your TV. If you're streaming in 4K, make sure to use an HDMI port that supports HDCP 2.2.
2. Connect to power: Use the included USB power cable and power adaptor to connect your streaming player to a wall outlet for the best streaming experience. Alternatively, you can connect the USB power cable to the USB port on your TV. If you see a red light on your streaming player, it means the USB port on your TV is not providing enough power, so use the included power adaptor instead.
3. Position streaming player: Place your streaming player near your TV or attach it using the included removable adhesive strip. Avoid placing it behind the TV or inside a closed TV cabinet to prevent overheating.
4. Select input: Use your TV remote to power on your TV and select the input (source) that you used to connect your streaming player.
5. Insert batteries: Slide open the cover on the back of your remote and insert the included Duracell batteries. Your remote will pair automatically.
6. Follow the on-screen setup: Follow the instructions displayed on your TV screen. Activate your streaming player by using your computer or smartphone to link it to a Roku account. Visit go.roku.com/express4K for more information.
