To set up your TiVo BOLT Digital Video Recorder, follow these steps:
1. Connect the TiVo BOLT to your TV: Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI output on the TiVo BOLT to an HDMI input on your TV. Make sure both devices are powered off before making the connection.
2. Connect the TiVo BOLT to your cable or satellite service: Use a coaxial cable to connect the cable or satellite service input on the TiVo BOLT to the corresponding output on your cable or satellite box. Alternatively, you can use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI output on your cable or satellite box to an HDMI input on the TiVo BOLT.
3. Power on the TiVo BOLT and your TV: Plug the power cord of the TiVo BOLT into a power outlet and press the power button on the front panel of the TiVo BOLT. Turn on your TV and set it to the correct input source.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions: Once the TiVo BOLT is powered on, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup process. This includes selecting your language, connecting to your home network (if applicable), and activating your TiVo service.
5. Activate your TiVo service: To activate your TiVo service, you will need to create a TiVo account or sign in to an existing account. Follow the prompts on the screen to complete the activation process.
6. Set up your channel lineup: After activating your TiVo service, you will be prompted to set up your channel lineup. This involves selecting your cable or satellite provider and entering your ZIP code. The TiVo BOLT will then download the available channels for your area.
7. Enjoy your TiVo BOLT: Once the setup process is complete, you can start using your TiVo BOLT to watch and record your favorite shows and movies.
