To connect the Yamaha SWK-W16 Wireless Subwoofer Kit to your Yamaha subwoofer, follow these steps:
1. Install the unit: Place the SWK-W16 unit on or near the subwoofer. Make sure it is securely installed and does not move due to subwoofer vibrations.
2. Connect the cables: Use the provided subwoofer cable to connect subwoofer cable B from the SWK-W16 unit's SUBWOOFER OUT jack to the input jack on your subwoofer. If your Yamaha subwoofer has a SYSTEM CONNECTOR jack, use the provided system control cable to connect system control cable C from the SWK-W16 unit's SYSTEM CONNECTOR jack to the subwoofer's SYSTEM CONNECTOR jack.
3. Power up: Plug the power cables for both the subwoofer and the SWK-W16 unit into an AC wall outlet.
4. Set up the subwoofer: Turn on the subwoofer and set the volume halfway between the minimum and maximum levels. Set the crossover frequency to the maximum setting.
5. Turn on the signal-transmitting device: Turn on the device that transmits the subwoofer signals, such as the YSP-5600 soundbar. A wireless connection will be established between the SWK-W16 unit and the signal-transmitting device. The status indicator on the SWK-W16 unit will glow green once the wireless connection is established.
