Cleaning the Cuisinart WMR-CAP2 Round Classic Waffle Maker is simple and easy. Here are the steps to clean the waffle maker:
1. Once you have finished baking, remove the plug from the electrical outlet and leave the top lid open to allow the grids to cool.
2. Never take the waffle maker apart for cleaning. Instead, brush any crumbs from the grooves and absorb any excess cooking oil by wiping with a dry cloth or paper towel.
3. To clean the grids, wipe them with a damp cloth to prevent staining and sticking from batter or oil buildup. Make sure the grids have cooled completely before cleaning.
