To connect the Pioneer Elite SP-EFS73 Floor Standing Speaker to your receiver, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure that your receiver is turned off before making any connections.
2. Identify the speaker terminals on the back of your receiver. These are usually labeled as "Front Left," "Front Right," "Center," etc.
3. Take the speaker wire and strip off about 1/2 inch of insulation from the ends of the wire.
4. Twist the bare strands of wire to prevent any loose strands.
5. Insert the positive (+) wire into the positive terminal of the speaker and the negative (-) wire into the negative terminal of the speaker. Make sure that the wires are securely inserted into the terminals.
6. Repeat the process for the other speaker terminals, ensuring that you connect the correct wires to the corresponding terminals (e.g., Front Left speaker wire to the Front Left terminal).
7. Once all the speaker wires are connected, double-check the connections to ensure they are secure and properly inserted.
8. Turn on your receiver and test the speakers to make sure they are working correctly.
Please note that the Pioneer Elite SP-EFS73 Floor Standing Speaker has two sets of binding posts, which allows you to bi-wire or bi-amp the speakers if desired. Bi-wiring or bi-amping requires additional speaker wire and a compatible receiver or amplifier. If you choose to bi-wire or bi-amp, please consult the user manual or contact Pioneer customer support for specific instructions.
