To clean the Proctor Silex 26090PS Belgian Waffle Maker, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool down completely.
2. Wipe the waffle grids and the outside of the unit with a damp, soapy cloth.
3. Rinse the cloth and wipe the grids again.
4. Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, or abrasive cleansers on any part of the unit.
5. Never use sharp or pointed objects for cleaning purposes.
6. Wash the drip tray in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
7. For storing, allow the appliance to cool down completely and lock the cover by rotating the handle.
