To connect the Sentry HO417 Digital Headphones to your computer, please follow these steps:
1. Verify the physical audio output of the computer: Check the audio ports on your computer and make sure they are not physically damaged.
2. Connect the Connector to the Port: Plug the 3.5mm audio connector of the headphones into the audio output port on your computer. This is usually a green-colored port labeled "Headphone" or "Audio Out."
3. Set the PC's Sound Output preferences: On your computer, go to the Sound settings. This can usually be accessed by right-clicking the volume icon in the system tray and selecting "Playback devices" or "Sound settings." Make sure the headphones are selected as the default playback device.
4. Make a mic check: If your headphones have a built-in microphone and you want to use it, make sure it is selected as the default recording device in the Sound settings. You can also test the microphone by recording sound and checking if it is working properly.
