To connect your speakers to the Pioneer Elite SC-91 AV Receiver, follow these steps:
1. Identify the speaker terminals on the back of the receiver. The SC-91 supports up to 7.2 channels, so there will be multiple sets of terminals labeled for each channel.
2. Determine the type of speakers you have. The SC-91 supports both traditional wired speakers and wireless speakers. If you have wired speakers, proceed to step 3. If you have wireless speakers, refer to the manual for specific instructions on how to connect them.
3. For wired speakers, strip the insulation from the ends of your speaker wires to expose the bare wire. Twist the exposed wire strands to prevent fraying.
4. Insert the bare wire into the corresponding speaker terminal on the back of the receiver. Each terminal will be labeled with the channel designation (e.g., Front Left, Front Right, Center, Surround Left, Surround Right, etc.). Ensure that the positive (+) wire is connected to the positive terminal and the negative (-) wire is connected to the negative terminal.
5. Once the wires are securely inserted into the terminals, tighten the terminals to secure the connection. Most terminals have a xxxx or binding post that can be tightened using a screwdriver or by hand.
6. Repeat steps 3-5 for each speaker you want to connect to the receiver.
7. After connecting all the speakers, double-check the connections to ensure they are secure and properly matched to the corresponding channels.
8. Finally, refer to the receiver's manual for instructions on how to configure the speaker settings and perform any necessary calibration or setup procedures to optimize the audio performance.
