To turn off the microphones on the Amazon Echo Plus with built-in Hub 1st-Generation, locate the Microphone OFF button on the device. Press this button once, and both the Microphone OFF button and the light ring will turn red, indicating that the microphones are now turned off. To turn the microphones back on, simply press the Microphone OFF button again. The light ring will return to its normal state, and the microphones will be active once more. Please note that when the microphones are turned off, the device will not be able to hear or respond to voice commands.
