To connect the Pioneer Elite SW-E10 Andrew Jones Home Audio Subwoofer to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Make sure all power is turned off to your system before making any connections.
2. Determine the appropriate method of connection based on your setup:
- Method 1: For home theater or LFE applications:
- On the rear of your A/V receiver or surround processor, locate the SUBWOOFER OUT jack, which is usually a single RCA type jack.
- Connect a single RCA cable from the SUBWOOFER OUT jack to the top jack on the rear of the subwoofer labeled LEFT/LFE.
- Method 2: For stereo applications:
- On the rear of your receiver or preamp, locate the stereo (left and right) RCA type jacks marked LEFT and RIGHT PREAMP OUTPUT.
- Connect a pair of RCA cables from the LEFT and RIGHT PREAMP OUTPUT jacks to the LEFT and RIGHT inputs on the rear of the subwoofer.
3. After making the connections, plug the subwoofer into an AC outlet. Do not use the AC outlet on the rear of your receiver.
4. Switch the Main Power of the subwoofer to the ON position.
5. Make any necessary adjustments to the LEVEL, LOWPASS (HZ), and PHASE controls on the subwoofer to optimize the performance and integration with your audio system.
6. Refer to the Final System Adjustments section in the user guide for further instructions on fine-tuning your system.
Please refer to the Pioneer Elite SW-E10 Andrew Jones Home Audio Subwoofer user guide for more detailed information and illustrations on the connection process.
