Cleaning the is easy. Here are the steps to clean the kettle:
1. Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool before cleaning.
2. Rinse the kettle or wash it with warm soapy water.
3. Wipe the outside of the kettle and the base unit with a soft, damp cloth.
4. Clean the spout filter by running it under hot water and gently rubbing it with a clean cloth or brush.
5. Dry all parts of the kettle after every use.
6. Never immerse the kettle or the power base in water.
If you need to remove mineral deposits from the interior of the kettle, also known as de-calcification, you can follow these steps:
1. Fill the kettle with enough white vinegar to cover the bottom by about 1/2 inch.
2. Heat the vinegar to a boil.
3. Repeat this process with cooled vinegar until all deposits are removed.
4. After the de-calcification process is complete, empty the kettle and rinse it out several times with clean water.
Please note that if you have tea stains or mineral deposits on the stainless steel surface at the base of the kettle, you can dilute a small amount of food-grade white vinegar in a fresh kettle full of water and boil it to remove the stains.
