To connect your Bose SoundTouch 130 Home Theater System to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your TV has an available HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) or optical audio output. These are the recommended connections for the best audio quality.
2. Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI ARC or optical audio output on your TV.
3. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC or optical audio input on the SoundTouch 130 control console.
4. Power on your TV and SoundTouch 130 system.
5. On your TV, navigate to the audio settings menu and select the appropriate audio output option. This may be labeled as "HDMI ARC" or "optical audio."
6. Use the SoundTouch remote control to select the appropriate input source on the control console. For example, if you connected the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC input, select the "HDMI ARC" input on the control console.
7. Adjust the volume on the SoundTouch 130 system using the remote control or the control console.
