If the digital readout is showing an incorrect weight while the dial is accurate, it may be due to a calibration issue. To recalibrate the scale, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the scale is placed on a level surface.
2. Remove and insert the batteries to reset the scale. This can be done by following the instructions under the "Batteries" section of the manual.
3. Once the batteries are inserted, place the scale on a level surface again. The scale's LCD will activate and remain on for 5 seconds before turning off.
4. Step onto the scale and allow it to complete the calibration process. Disregard the first weight reading, step off the scale, and allow it to turn off. This will conclude the calibration process.
5. After calibration, step onto the scale again and check if the digital readout now displays the correct weight.
