Cleaning the Panasonic SB40 Beard Trimmer is easy and straightforward. After each use, it is recommended to clean the trimmer to maintain its performance. Here's how you can clean it:
1. Turn off the trimmer and remove it from the AC adaptor.
2. If there are light dirt and hair trimmings, you can rinse the trimmer with water. Run water down the water inlet at the front of the main body for approximately 20 seconds. Make sure not to hit the main body on the sink or any other object while draining the water.
3. If there are heavy dirt and hair trimmings, remove the attachment and blade. Clean the appliance, blade, and attachments with running water.
4. Use the cleaning brush included with the trimmer to brush off any hair trimmings from the main body and around the blade. Press down the cleaning lever to raise the moving blade and brush any hair trimmings out from between the stationary blade and the moving blade.
5. After cleaning, apply the included oil to the blade before and after each use for lubrication.
6. Attach the cleaned blade and attachment back to the trimmer.
Please note that the trimmer is completely machine washable, but it's important to follow the cleaning instructions provided in the manual to ensure proper maintenance and longevity of the trimmer.
