Here are the steps to install the Flojet 4325 Automatic Deck Washdown Pump:
1. Remove the shipping plugs from the pump ports.
2. Install the inlet and discharge port connectors by firmly pushing the slide clips forward to lock them in place.
3. Slide the rubber mounts fully into the mounting tracks.
4. Mount the pump vertically with the pump head down or horizontally in an accessible location. If mounting vertically, attach the motor mounts first, then the pump head mounts while supporting the weight of the pump.
5. Use 3/4" or 5/8" I.D. flexible hose and hose clamps to connect the pump to the water supply.
6. Install a 40 mesh in-line strainer between the water tank and the pump inlet.
7. For DC wiring, use 14 gauge stranded wire up to 20 feet or 12 gauge wire up to 50 feet from the power source. Install a 15 amp rated on-off switch on the positive motor lead and a fuse protection in the positive lead.
8. If using the 115V AC or 230V AC models, plug the pump into a G.F.I. protected electrical outlet.
