To clean the COOKTRON JK17MB-150-01 Double Wall Electric Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Prepare a solution of white vinegar and water in a 1-to-1 ratio.
2. Pour the solution into the kettle, filling it up to about half of its capacity.
3. Let the solution sit in the kettle for at least 15 minutes to allow it to break down any mineral deposits or scale.
4. After 15 minutes, turn on the kettle and bring the solution to a boil.
5. Allow the solution to boil for 5 minutes.
6. After boiling, turn off the kettle and let it sit for another 15 minutes to allow the solution to further dissolve any deposits.
7. Carefully pour out the solution from the kettle.
8. Rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water to remove any residual vinegar.
9. Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a damp cloth to remove any stains or dirt.
