To clean the Fashome SL-EK-001R Electric Tea Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool before cleaning.
2. Wipe the kettle and base with a soft, damp cloth. Make sure to keep the electric socket on the underside of the kettle dry.
3. For the interior cleaning, boil a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water in the kettle.
4. Let the mixture sit in the kettle for about 15-20 minutes to loosen any mineral deposits or scale.
5. After the soaking period, use a soft toothbrush or sponge to scrub the interior of the kettle, paying special attention to any stubborn stains or deposits.
6. Rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water to remove any vinegar residue.
7. Dry all parts of the kettle, including the interior and exterior, after every use to prevent the buildup of moisture and potential rusting.
8. Repeat this cleaning process every four to eight weeks to descale the kettle and maintain its performance.
