To clean the SENCOR SWK-1785BK electric kettle, follow these steps:
1. Regularly remove water scale deposits from inside the kettle based on how frequently the kettle is used. We recommend cleaning it once per month in areas with hard and very hard water, and once every two to three months in areas with soft and medium hard water.
2. To remove water scale deposits, you can use either 8% white vinegar or citric acid.
- For white vinegar: Put 1/2 liter of vinegar into the kettle and allow it to settle for 2 hours without boiling. Then empty the kettle and before further use, boil clean water in it four to five times.
- For citric acid: Boil 1/2 liter of water in the kettle, then add 30 grams of citric acid into the boiled water and allow it to settle for about 30 minutes. Then empty the kettle and before further use, boil clean water in it four to five times.
3. To clean the external parts of the electric kettle, use a dry cloth or a cloth dipped in a weak solution of neutral kitchen detergent. After applying the kitchen detergent, wipe the surface with a lightly damp cloth and then wipe dry.
4. Clean the base of the kettle using only a dry cloth. Do not use cleaning agents causing abrasion, petrol, solvents, etc. to clean the kettle and the base.
By following these cleaning instructions, you can ensure the longevity and performance of your SENCOR SWK-1785BK electric kettle.
