To clean the Moss & Stone Stainless Steel Electric Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Add Baking Soda: Add a couple of tablespoons of baking soda to the kettle before adding water.
2. Boil the Mixture: Turn on the kettle and bring the water and baking soda mixture to a boil.
3. Let it Rest: After boiling, turn off the heat and let the kettle rest for ten minutes.
4. Scrub the Inside: Use a soft brush to gently scrape the inside of the kettle, removing any residue or stains.
5. Rinse: Rinse the kettle thoroughly with clean water to remove any remaining baking soda.
It is recommended to clean the kettle before using it for the first time by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water. Additionally, only use cold water when filling the kettle. Regular cleaning and descaling every four to eight weeks will help maintain the kettle's performance and prevent scale buildup.
