To change the shooting mode on the Fujifilm FinePix S8500 Digital Camera, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the camera by pressing the power button.
2. Press the "MODE" button located on the top of the camera.
3. Use the navigation buttons (up, down, left, right) on the back of the camera to highlight the desired shooting mode.
