To set the time on the Emerson ER100301 SmartSet Alarm Clock Radio, follow these steps:
1. Plug the clock radio into a power outlet.
2. The clock will automatically set the time for the Eastern Time Zone, which is the initial default setting. If you live in the Eastern Time Zone, there's nothing else to do. Your clock is set correctly and running.
3. If you do not live in the Eastern Time Zone, you need to change the default time zone display to your own zone. This is a one-time setup.
4. Press and hold the TIME SET button until the time display starts flashing.
5. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
6. Press the TIME SET button again to move to the minute setting.
7. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the minute.
8. Press the TIME SET button again to confirm the time setting.
The clock is now set to the correct time.
