To adjust the temperature settings on the Capresso 244.05 H2O Glass Select Rapid Boil Kettle, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the kettle is plugged into a wall outlet and placed on the power base.
2. Open the lid until it stands vertically, but do not bend the lid further back.
3. Close the lid.
4. On the control panel, you will see five temperature presets: 110°F (green), 160°F (blue), 175°F (yellow), 195°F (purple), and 212°F (red).
5. Press the corresponding button for the desired temperature setting. The LED light will indicate the selected temperature.
6. The kettle will start heating the water to the chosen temperature. Once the water reaches the set temperature, the kettle will turn off automatically, and the on-switch will jump down.
7. Lift the kettle from the base and pour the water out slowly.
It is important to note that the lid should always be closed during operation to avoid scalding. Additionally, the kettle has a maximum fill line marking, so make sure not to exceed it to prevent any accidents.
