To use the Adcraft SK-500W soup kettle, follow these steps:
1. Plug the unit into a correct electrical outlet.
2. Add 0.81 of water between the stainless steel liner and the internal aluminum container. Do not overfill with water, and ensure that the stainless steel liner does not float up, even when empty. Remove excess water immediately.
3. Set the temperature control between 1 and 5 for the keep warm function. For cooking, use the high (6) setting.
4. If you want to heat the soup faster, it is recommended to heat it up in a separate pot on the stove first and then transfer it to the stainless steel liner.
5. Always unplug the soup kettle from the electrical outlet after use.
6. Keep the removable hinged lid attached and in the closed position when not serving.
7. Never move or carry the kettle when it contains hot soup or liquid.
8. Clean the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and remove any spilled food immediately.
9. Ensure that the unit is unplugged while not in use, filling soup or water, and being cleaned.
