To pair your DOSS SoundBox XL with your smart device, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure your smart device and the speaker are within one meter (3 feet) of each other.
2. Press and hold the power button on the speaker for 2 seconds to turn it on.
3. Set your smart device to "discover" the speaker. Upon powering on, you will hear a tone, and the blue LED on the speaker will start flashing, indicating that it has entered pairing mode.
4. Enable Bluetooth on your smart device and search for available devices.
5. From the list of available devices, select "DOSS SoundBox XL" to establish the connection.
6. If the pairing is successful, the LED on the speaker will change to steady blue, and your smart device will confirm that the connection has been established.
7. If the pairing process fails after 60 seconds, please repeat steps 1 to 5.
