To record a cassette tape onto a CD using the Teac LP-R550USBB CD Recorder with Cassette and Turntable, follow these steps:
1. Connect the cassette player: Plug the audio cables from the cassette player into the "LINE IN" jacks on the back of the CD recorder. Make sure to match the left and right channels correctly.
2. Prepare the CD: Insert a blank CD-R or CD-RW disc into the CD recorder's CD tray.
3. Set the recording mode: Press the "REC MODE" button on the CD recorder repeatedly until the desired recording mode (CD, CD-MP3, or CD-WMA) is displayed on the front panel.
4. Select the input source: Press the "INPUT SELECT" button on the CD recorder repeatedly until "LINE" is displayed on the front panel. This selects the cassette player as the input source.
5. Start recording: Press the "REC/PAUSE" button on the CD recorder to start recording. The CD recorder will begin recording from the cassette player.
6. Monitor the recording: You can monitor the recording by connecting headphones to the "PHONES" jack on the CD recorder or by using the built-in speakers.
7. Stop recording: Press the "STOP" button on the CD recorder to stop the recording. The CD recorder will finalize the disc automatically.
8. Finalize the disc: After recording, the CD recorder will automatically finalize the disc. This process may take a few minutes. Do not open the CD tray or turn off the power during finalization.
9. Eject the disc: Once the disc is finalized, the CD recorder will automatically eject the disc. Remove the disc from the CD tray.
