To connect the Lanzar AQTB8 subwoofer to your car's audio system, you have two options: low-level input wiring or high-level input wiring.
1. Low-Level Input Wiring:
- Use a high-quality RCA cable to connect the low-level (RCA) input of the subwoofer to the RCA outputs of your head unit or another signal source.
- If your installation requires a long cable, use a 15-20 foot RCA cable for trunk or hatchback installations, or a 6-12 foot RCA cable for pickup trucks and under-seat installations.
2. High-Level Input Wiring:
- If your head unit does not have RCA outputs, you can use the high-level (speaker level) inputs of the subwoofer.
- Connect the speaker outputs from your head unit to the high-level input connector of the subwoofer, ensuring proper polarity to avoid audio phase problems.
Note: Do not connect both the high-level and low-level inputs from your receiver to the subwoofer at the same time.
