To connect the Monoprice MSYS-P Home Theater Satellite Speakers to a receiver, you will need to use speaker wire. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Turn off all power to your subwoofer and other equipment before making any connections.
2. Use 14 gauge speaker wire and banana plugs to connect the speakers to the receiver. The positive (+) terminal of each speaker should be connected to the corresponding positive terminal on the receiver, and the negative (-) terminal of each speaker should be connected to the corresponding negative terminal on the receiver.
3. If you are using the subwoofer included in the MSYS-P system, connect it to the receiver using an RCA cable. The subwoofer has a "line in/sub in" input that consists of two RCA male wires. Connect these to the subwoofer output on the receiver, which is a single male connector.
4. If your receiver has 5.1 channel line level outputs, you can use an RCA "Y" adapter to connect both line level inputs on the subwoofer.
5. Once all the connections are made, turn on the power to your subwoofer and other equipment.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and diagrams on how to connect the speakers to a receiver.
