To connect the Pyle PHSP12 Indoor Outdoor PA Horn Speaker to a power amplifier, please follow these steps:
1. Identify the colored wires: The speaker comes with red, black, white, and green wires. The black wire serves as the common wire, while the colored wires are the hot leads.
2. Determine the desired output power: Each color's output power tap can be set to 5, 15, or 20 watts. Choose the appropriate power level based on your requirements.
3. Connect the wires to the power amplifier: Connect the black wire to the amplifier's ground or negative terminal. Then, connect one of the colored wires (e.g., red) to the positive or hot terminal of the amplifier. If you are unsure which wire corresponds to which power level, it is a good guess that the red wire is for 20 watts.
4. Set the power amplifier: Make sure the power amplifier is set to the appropriate output power level that matches the one you have selected for the speaker.
