To install the MARD AUDIO DAN-100DL 2-Way Ceiling Speaker in your ceiling, follow these steps:
1. Start by measuring the desired location for the speaker cut-out. The dimensions for installation are 100 mm for the cut-out, 116 mm for the outside diameter, and 58 mm for the depth.
2. Use the included ceiling cut-out template to mark the location for the speaker cut-out on your ceiling.
3. Carefully cut the hole in the ceiling using the marked template as a guide. Make sure to follow all safety precautions and use appropriate tools for the job.
4. Once the hole is cut, connect the speaker wires from your receiver or amplifier to the binding posts on the back of the speaker. Ensure that the positive and negative terminals are correctly connected.
5. Gently push the speaker into the cut-out hole, making sure it fits securely.
6. If desired, you can paint the speaker grille with different colors to match your ceiling. However, note that there is no frame connecting the speaker grille to the speaker housing.
7. Finally, test the speaker by playing audio through your receiver or amplifier. Adjust the volume and settings as needed.
