To clean the Audio-Technica ATH-AVC200 Over-Ear Headphones, follow these guidelines:
1. Main unit: Wipe the main unit with a dry cloth.
2. Cable: Wipe the cable with a dry cloth after use if there is sweat or other dirt. Using an uncleaned cable continuously can result in headphone malfunction.
3. Plug: Wipe the plug with a dry cloth if dirty. Using the plug without cleaning it can cause sound skipping or distortion.
4. Earpad: To clean the earpads, wipe them with a dry cloth. If the earpads get wet, we recommend wiping them with a dry cloth and allowing them to dry in the shade. Note that earpads may fade if sweat or water dries on them.
It is important not to use alcohol, paint thinners, or other solvents for cleaning purposes as they may damage the headphones. Regularly cleaning your headphones will help ensure their longevity.
