To install the ELAC IC-1005 Ceiling Recessed Speaker, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired location for the speaker on the ceiling or wall. Ensure that the mounting surface can support the weight of the speaker.
2. Cut a hole in the ceiling or wall with the appropriate dimensions for the speaker. Refer to the product manual for the specific cutout dimensions.
3. Connect the speaker wires to the binding posts on the back of the speaker. Ensure that the polarity is correct (positive to positive, negative to negative).
4. Insert the speaker into the cutout hole, making sure it is securely in place.
5. If desired, use the included remote control to adjust the speaker settings, such as volume and tone.
6. Connect the other end of the speaker wires to a compatible receiver or amplifier. Make sure to follow the receiver or amplifier's instructions for proper connection.
7. Test the speaker by playing audio through the connected receiver or amplifier. Adjust the settings as needed for optimal sound quality.
