Yes, you can specify that your family members be notified first before EMTs are called. During the activation call, you can designate one or more emergency contacts to be called before emergency services are dispatched. Medical Guardian allows you to have up to 4 emergency contacts on file. When the alarm is engaged, the operators will call through the base station to determine if you need emergency assistance. If there is no answer, they will call your primary phone number. If there is still no response, emergency medical services will be dispatched, and then the emergency contacts will be called. You have the option to prioritize your emergency contacts before dispatching emergency services.
