To set the temperature on the BLACK+DECKER BHVHC15 Heater for Vertical or Horizontal, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the heater is plugged in and in standby mode.
2. Press the POWER button on the heater or the remote control to start the heater.
3. The heater will supply HIGH heat and show a temperature of 95°F on the digital display.
4. Press the Mode button repeatedly to scroll through the heat settings: High Heat, Low Heat, Fan Only, and E-Save Settings.
5. To set the temperature to a specific level, press the + button to increase the set temperature by 5°F or press the - button to decrease the set temperature by 5°F increments.
6. Continue pressing the + or - button until your desired temperature is set. The selected temperature will show on the digital display.
Note: The heater thermostat has memory and will remember the previous temperature setting after the unit has been turned off. If the unit is unplugged, the heater thermostat will be reset and will no longer remember the previous temperature setting.
