If your Vornado MVH Vortex Heater shuts off unexpectedly, it may be due to the built-in safety shut-off system being activated. To reset the heater, follow these steps:
1. Power off the heater and unplug the power cord.
2. Remove any obstructions that may be blocking the inlets or outlet of the heater.
3. Wait for 5-10 minutes to allow the heater to cool down.
4. Plug in the power cord and place the heater in the desired position.
5. Press the Power button to turn the heater on. It should now function normally.
If the safety shut-off system repeatedly shuts off your heater or if it does not reset after following the above procedure, it is recommended to contact Vornado Consumer Services Department at 1-800-234-0604 for further assistance.
