To connect your ecobee3 thermostat to Wi-Fi, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is functioning properly and that you have the network name (SSID) and password available.
2. On the ecobee3 thermostat, tap the menu button on the bottom left corner of the screen.
3. Select "Wi-Fi" from the menu options.
4. Tap on "Network" and then select "Add Network."
5. A list of available Wi-Fi networks will be displayed. Choose your network from the list.
6. If your network is password-protected, enter the password using the on-screen keyboard. Use the arrows to navigate between characters and tap "Done" when finished.
7. Once you have entered the correct password, tap "Connect" to establish the connection.
8. The thermostat will attempt to connect to your Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you will see a confirmation message on the screen.
9. If the connection is successful, you can proceed with the setup process and configure your thermostat using the ecobee app or the thermostat's touchscreen.
