To calibrate the Health-O-Meter 2500KL Digital Wheelchair Ramp Scale, please follow the steps outlined in the user manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Ensure that the scale is on a stable and level surface.
2. Turn on the scale by pressing the power button.
3. Wait for the scale to display "0.0" or "CAL" on the screen.
4. Press and hold the "MODE" button until the display shows "CAL".
5. Release the "MODE" button and wait for the display to show "CAL" followed by a number.
6. Place a known weight on the scale. The weight should be within the scale's capacity and accuracy requirements.
7. Press the "MODE" button to confirm the weight. The scale will display "CAL" followed by a different number.
8. Remove the known weight from the scale.
9. Wait for the scale to display "0.0" or the weight of the platform.
10. The scale is now calibrated and ready for use.
