To set the alarm on the Jensen JCR-310 FM Stereo Dual Alarm Clock Radio, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the unit is in Standby mode.
2. Press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button to select the alarm wake-up sound mode - "Beeping Alarm," "Music from CD," "Music from your external music player via AUX IN," or "Last AM/FM radio station you listened to."
3. If you select "Wake to music," set the volume level of the music/radio with the power on before putting the unit into Standby mode. The volume you set will be the same volume level that will come on when the alarm time is reached.
4. After selecting the alarm sound mode, press and hold the respective ALARM button.
5. The alarm "hour digits" will begin to flash on the display. Press the / buttons to adjust the alarm hour. Make sure the hour is set so that the PM indicator is displayed correctly for the chosen wake time.
6. When the correct alarm hour is selected, press the corresponding ALARM button to confirm, and the alarm "minutes digits" will begin to flash.
7. Press the / buttons to adjust the alarm minute.
8. When the correct alarm minute is selected, press the corresponding ALARM button to complete the setting.
9. To turn on the alarm, tap the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button repeatedly to select the alarm function. The respective alarm indicator will light up.
10. To turn off the alarm for the next day, tap the respective ALARM button to the OFF mode. The corresponding alarm indicator will go off.
Note: The alarm will automatically turn on when the alarm time is reached. The beeping alarm will sound for 60 minutes and then turn off automatically if the snooze button is not pressed. To stop the beeping alarm sound immediately, tap the Power button.
