To calibrate the Ohaus SD35 SD Shipping Scales, please follow the steps outlined in the user manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Ensure that the scale is placed on a stable and level surface.
2. Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for about 3 seconds until the display shows "CAL".
3. Release the "ON/OFF" button. The display will show "0.0".
4. Place a known weight on the scale. The weight should be within the scale's capacity.
5. Press the "UNITS" button to select the desired unit of measurement (e.g., kg, lb, g, etc.).
6. Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for about 3 seconds until the display shows "CAL".
7. Release the "ON/OFF" button. The display will show the calibration weight.
8. Remove the calibration weight from the scale.
9. The display will show "PASS" if the calibration is successful. If it shows "FAIL," repeat the calibration process.
10. Press the "ON/OFF" button to exit the calibration mode.
