According to the user manual, the Klipsch RP-400C center channel speaker should be placed as close to the screen as possible, preferably directly on top of or below the screen. This is because the center channel speaker is designed to reproduce dialogue and primary sounds, making it important for it to appear to come from the video screen. Placing it in front of the screen will ensure accurate sound reproduction and enhance the overall viewing experience. If placing it directly on top or below the screen is not possible, the next best option would be to place it above the TV. However, it is important to avoid offsetting the center channel speaker from the display.
