To connect your ADAM Audio T7V studio monitor to your audio source, follow these steps:
1. Make sure both the monitor and your audio source are turned off.
2. Locate the IN connectors on the rear panel of the T7V monitor. There is an XLR connector and an RCA connector.
3. If your audio source uses balanced audio with a nominal +4 dBu level, use an XLR cable to connect the audio source to the XLR connector on the monitor. If your audio source uses unbalanced audio with a nominal -10 dBV level, use an RCA cable to connect the audio source to the RCA connector on the monitor.
4. Set the +4 dBu/-10 dBV switch on the rear panel of the monitor according to the type of connection you made. Set it to "+4 dBu" for balanced XLR connection or "-10 dBV" for unbalanced RCA connection.
5. Once the cables are securely connected, turn on your audio source.
6. Set the level control xxxx on the rear panel of the monitor to its "0 dB" setting.
7. Turn on the T7V monitor by flipping the power switch to the ON position. The associated green LED should light up.
8. Adjust the output level controls on your audio source to the desired listening volume.
9. Fine-tune the level control xxxx on the monitor to achieve the desired listening volume.
